The Leopard 40 was the first of the Leopard Range to embrace the innovative layout with a forward facing galley, something that has now become a staple on the newer Leopard models. Taking into careful consideration the feedback that we received from our customers and owners, the 2018 model of the Leopard 40 has been given an even more spacious owner’s cabin, with some additional upgrades.
The bed has been separated from the walls of the cabin to create a semi-island, and a step has been added on both sides to provide easy side access to the berth. This was accomplished by reducing the opening of the wall, which on the original model had outlined the bed. We then rearranged the provided furnishings within the owner suite to allow for a more refined layout. The port light, which is positioned aft, has also been enlarged and enhanced, providing a bright and open feeling to the already sizable cabin.
Staying true to our legacy of open concept designs, we were able to accomplish this renovation without compromising any interior living space, one of the most loved and praised features of the Leopard line. The Leopard 40 still offers more interior living space than any other catamaran of similar size, and no other yacht in this class of sailing catamarans can boast the speed, agility, or blue-water performance that the Leopard 40 can.
